The 20th century is the century of revolutionary modern art and of the discovery of Palaeolithic art, the influence of which remains universal.
Picasso, Miro, Soulages, Nicolas de Staël and many other artists even today have been greatly influenced by Palaeolithic art which has greatly marked their work.
This "dialogue" between prehistoric and contemporary art is at the heart of this documentary. The film explores through images and sounds the creative processes of contemporary artists are engaged in and is intended to help the viewer experience the same emotions when contemplating rock paintings.
