Written by Renaud Lavergne, directed by Anja Unger
At the end of the second World War, France “exfiltrated” children born of German mothers and French fathers, soldiers in occupied Germany.
The objective of these “State adoptions” was to help re-populate France. These adoptions were forerunners of other State adoptions which were to follow: of children born in Vietnam during the war there and of children born in Reunion.
